Announcing the Wine of the Year

Announcing the Wine of the Year

Our Wine of the Year provides an emphatic answer to the Napa Cabernet value question, punching above its weight for quality and priced well below the triple-digit entry point for top-flight reds from the premier region. Plus, there’s enough to go around.

Our annual Top 100 list, crowned by the Wine of the Year, honors the most exciting wines blind-tasted by our editors over the year. In 2022, the countdown began with the more than 5,000 wines earning 90 points or more and culminates with a roster of not-to-be-missed bottles from across the globe, representing delicious drinking, value, availability and, most of all, passion in the vineyards and cellars.

Plus, tasting reports on Australia and U.S. sparkling wines, terroir-driven chocolate bars and much more.
